Award winning pianist and vocalist Yoon Sun Choi has spent more than
20 years teaching music to students of all
ages. She has
extensive experience in early childhood music education and is
experienced in the Delcroze and Kindermusik method. Yoon is a
touring, performing jazz musician who has also conducted
numerous workshops and clinics in performance and
improvisation. Yoon has two music degrees, one from Queen's
University and one from the University of Toronto. Yoon is
currently on faculty at Musical Kids International and is
founder of YSC Studios and co-founder of Yeah Yeah Records.
Concert pianist and educator, Akiko Sasaki's 11 years of diverse teaching experience and education has given her a fresh new approach to teaching music. Currently Mrs. Sasaki is on faculty at the Lucy Moses School of Performing Arts, Frank Sinatra High School and maintains her home studio Forte>Piano Studio in Brooklyn, Ditmas Park. She has experience in the Suzuki, Delcroze, Yamaha methods and has studied the Shaak's Piano Partners method with Carolyn Shaak. Mrs. Sasaki has had extensive experience teaching toddlers and is often seen accompanying ballet classes and movement classes for children at the Sandra Camron Dance Studio. Mrs. Sasaki received her Bachelors of Music in piano performance from the University of Denver and her Masters in Music from the Manhattan School of Music. As a concert pianist, Ms. Sasaki has performed throughout Europe and the United States, including a solo recital at the famed Carnegie Hall in New York City.
